Agri-Plastics Expands Custom Rotational Molding Expertise
Agri-Plastics is strengthening its custom molding capabilities with the return of industry veteran Mark Wood, who joins the company in the newly created role of Custom Molding Sales Manager – North America.
Mark brings more than 40 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, engineering, operations, project management, and technical sales. His career has spanned rotational molding, product development, quality assurance, manufacturing operations, and custom plastics solutions serving agricultural, industrial, automotive, mining, aggregate, consumer, and OEM markets.
Mark Wood Returns to Agri-Plastics with Extensive Industry Experience
Mark is no stranger to Agri-Plastics. He previously served as Engineering Manager at the company’s Grassie, Ontario facility and later as Operations Manager for Agri-Plastics USA in Sidney, Nebraska. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining practical manufacturing expertise with a strong understanding of product design, engineering, and customer requirements.
A graduate of Durham College’s Mechanical Engineering Technology program, Mark has held numerous leadership and technical roles within the plastics industry. His experience includes design engineering, project management, engineering management, quality assurance leadership, ERP implementation, Lean manufacturing initiatives, and independent engineering consulting. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective on both the technical and operational aspects of bringing products from concept to production.
Supporting Customers Through the Custom Molding Process
In his new role, Mark will work closely with customers throughout the custom molding process, helping bridge design, engineering, tooling, and manufacturing to deliver practical, production-ready solutions. He will support customers from initial concept discussions through product development and commercialization, helping ensure projects are designed for long-term manufacturing success.
