The Production Manager will have a specific focus on product quality, operational improvement, health and safety awareness and cost reduction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operations • Schedule all production to ensure customer orders are processed on time • Release Work Orders to the production floor via. Supervisors • Input data and Pull reports from the ERP system • Work with employees to ensure quality standard and production quotas (rounds) are met • Suggest recommendations to encourage improvements • Develop machine setups to ensure a properly cured product • Make necessary adjustments to machines to improve efficiency • Clean, seal, and mold release new molds in preparation for production runs • Assist on new projects and prototyping • Delegate workload to Supervisors, Lead hands and Maintenance • Assist in troubleshooting of issues

Quality Assurance • Perform and validate quality checks • Document that quality standards are being met • Provide advice to supervisors, operators and finishers where needed to guarantee regulatory compliance • Make necessary changes to prevent or limit scrap.

Health & Safety • Help develop and enforce safe practices for employees in all areas • Train supervisors and workers on safety requirements • Ensure that personal protective equipment requirements are being met • Attend Accident Reviews and Investigations meetings and Health and Safety meetin

EDUCATION & TRAINING • Bachelor’s degree in pertinent field or equivalent experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE • 5-10 years proven work experience as a Supervisor/Production Manager • Proven management work record of safety, quality, productivity, • Demonstrated measurable improvements in productivity, health and safety, quality and service

SKILLS & ABILITIES • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills • Ability to adapt in a complex work environment • Ensure efficiency of operations by optimizing resources • Motivate, coach and develop direct reports to ensure an engaged workforce • Strong communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead, motivate and develop people

WORKING CONDITIONS Warehouse setting • Noisy • Periods of extreme heat

HOURS / SHIFT:  Days 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Calf Housing Product Manager to join our team and can work remotely. The ideal candidate will have a background in farming and the agricultural industry, veterinary background , and/or ranching/ranch manager experience, as well as a passion for promoting products that make a difference in the agricultural industry. This role will focus on working in sales and expanding the market presence of our calf housing solutions in America.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our calf housing products.
  • Identify and target potential customers, including farmers and ranchers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive products.
  • Provide technical support and product training to customers and sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our products.
  • Gather feedback from customers to inform product development and improvements.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in farming, ranching or veterinary services.
  • Strong understanding of calf housing and rearing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.

Job description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Administrator to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. The Accounting Administrator is responsible for handling all vendor invoices and managing the accounts payable ledger. The position includes all accounts payable, accounts receivable and payments duties. Responsibilities
  • Accounts payable invoice and data entry
  • Vendor payments, scheduling and preparing cheques, resolving invoice or payment discrepancies
  • Reconcile to vendor statements on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Prepare invoices and email to customers
  • Ensure all company financial information is kept confidential
  • Handle company returns process and issue credits as required
  • Post customer payments and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
  • Processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials and equipment

Operate Roto Mold machine that will produce quality products as per customer specifications. Reports to Supervisor.

  • Weigh pails of powder as per product specifications ie weight, color
  • Ensure all supplies are available at machine prior to shift i.e. vent tubes etc
  • Prepare molds - clean vent tubes, parting lines and replace breather material prior to the start of every cycle
  • Check product quality for any defects and report quality issues to Lead Hand and/or Supervisor
  • Read and understand procedures to produce products
  • Use crane to open mold to extract product when cycle is complete
  • Respond to trimmer findings and troubleshoot quality issues
  • Meet machine cycle time targets and keep machine operating efficiently in cycle
  • Handle molds with necessary care to ensure longevity of tools
  • Keep clamps adjusted to ensure mold closes properly with no leaks
  • Assist with mold changes as required
  • Record number of products completed per shift on Daily Productivity Sheets
  • Maintain a clean work station
  • Ensure wearing PPE at all times
  • Perform other duties a required

Trim all products as per customer specifications and prepare product for shipping. All work is done at production machines. Reports to Supervisor/Lead Hand/Plant Manager. WHMIS training an asset.

  • Check product quality for any defects and report quality issues to Lead Hand and/or Supervisor
  • Notify Machine Operator of any product flaws
  • Read and understand procedures to trim products
  • Ensure wearing PPE at all times
  • Trim product with hand tools for excess flash
  • Drill holes to insert various parts (ie. screen, valves, wires etc.) to complete product assembly
  • Sand product to ensure smooth finish
  • Flame product as required
  • Polish product and check for imperfections
  • Stack product on skids
  • Shrink wrap skids and transport skid to warehouse
  • Weigh pails of powder as per product specifications
  • Deliver pails of powder to Machine Operator
  • Take scrap products to grinding area
  • Record number of products completed per shift on Daily Productivity Sheets
  • Maintain a clean work station
